Robert Nakamura

Robert D. Nakamura is a new author making his debut with the novel Ronin: The Wolf’s Path He is passionate about samurai culture and warfare, and spends an inordinate amount of time reading and writing about these subjects.

I chose the pen name “Robert Nakamura” to signal both familiarity with Japanese culture and accessibility for readers who may be new to it. Ronin: The Wolf’s Path is not a historical novel, but a work of grimdark fantasy: one heavily grounded in Sengoku Japan, albeit with some liberties that allow me to tell the story I wanted to tell.
